Category: the Rant Board
It appears as of a few days ago, Amazon has redesigned their website, so that searching is difficult of not near impossible. You can search, but when you click on the item you want to look at, maybe it's just me, but I don't think it takes you to the right page to view the actual item. Either way, this is very uncool, and I'm strongly thinking of emailing someone at Amazon, unless someone has figured out how to actualy navigate around the site.
/*End rant.*/
Yeah. I noticed that too. I thought at first that it was a weird thing with JAWS, but that site is the only one I notice that does that anymore. Even Yahoo isn't bad to use anymore. But when you search for something on Amazon, doesn't it take you to the Gifts or Buy Gifts page or something like that? 'Cause that's what it does to me. I've taken a suggestion from here and used the www.amazon.com/access, and I do like that it's much less complicated to navigate. The only thing is that when I search for CD's or musicians, I used to like to hear what was on the CD's (when available), which they actually had on their regular site, but now I can't do that.
Yeah, it takes you to the gifts page or whatever, annoying definitely. I, too, liked to be able to hear samples of songs on the different CDs if available.
It's obvious that Amazon are gearing up for crimbo..how sleekit of them..
